Adam “Prime Time” Townsend signed a multi-fight contract with Brave Combat Federation. Having an undefeated amateur career of 8 wins, Townsend has a professional record of nineteen wins and five losses. Ten out of his nineteen wins came by way of submissions and Adam had never lost a fight to knockout or submission in his career. Townsend is expected to compete in the edition of Brave Combat Federation set to be hosted in South Africa.
Training at D-Evil MMA in USA, he will be joining the rapidly expanding lightweight division of Brave Combat Federation. Brave 19 is organised in association with VodaCom and Sun International alongside Scuffle Media as the local partner. Combat Week Africa will feature multiple combat sports events taking place during the fight week, including local mixed martial arts bouts taking place during 2nd December followed by Professional Boxing on 5th December. South African Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament will be conducted on 6th December. The official weigh-ins of Brave Combat Federation will be held on 7th December, Friday. Brave 19 will take place on 8th December featuring major athletes from South Africa alongside International athletes. The Combat Week Africa will be held at the Super Bowl in Sun City. The initiative is the largest combat sports festival ever held in South Africa.
