I grew up in Monaca, Pennsylvania, a small town outside of Pittsburgh. It was a very small town, where everyone knew everyone. Living there was great, a place that still had integrity and values. A close community where you could count on people, and I still have lifelong friends there. A city of hardworking people who will go above and beyond to provide and protect. I played football, baseball, and basketball all through high school. I went to Youngstown state university, where I played college baseball. I’d like to think I was a good boy growing up lol, but as they say “boys will be boys”. I think boxing had always been in store for me, although I never was allowed to box as a child. I didn’t start boxing until I was 19, but with all the prior sports and scuffles I believe boxing was my true calling. I met wife (Brynn Marie) through a mutual friend…that’s the easy way to answer that. But the truthful answer is, I saw a picture of her on Twitter that was retweeted by a radio station. Without hesitation, I needed to contact the radio station. I knew I was going to marry her the moment I saw her picture (crazy I know), comes with the territory lol. So, the radio station actually put us in touch and from that day on we have been inseparable. Yes, I’ve moved around very much, and was fortunate enough to see many beautiful places around the world. One of my greatest goals as a child was to become a professional athlete! In November of 2014, that dream became a reality. Although, if that didn’t work out I always wanted to be a Special Agent for the government. As a professional, I am 10 (6ko’s)-2, and the current ABA champion. My next fight is June 24th at the West Virginia State Penitentiary vs. Armin Mrkanovic of Bosnia for the UBF All America title!

Stay tuned as David will bring Part 2 in the coming days.
