BELLATOR TOURNAMENT VETERAN ANDREAS SPANG AND THE FIRST-EVER 215 MMA AMATEUR TITLE FIGHT AMONGST FIGHTS ADDED TO MATRIX FIGHTS 9 ON DEC. 5

Philadelphia, PA – The fight card for the return of MATRIX FIGHTS (www.MatrixFights.com) on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 continues to take shape with the recent additions of STRIKEFORCE and BELLATOR MMA tournament finalist Andreas Spang (8-3) along with the first-ever 215 MMA amateur title bout.

Spang, a resident of Las Vegas who trains under the renowned Skipper Kelp, is set for heavyweight action vs. former regional heavyweight champion, J.A. Dudley.

Joining the Spang vs. Dudley matchup will be an highly-touted amateur contest as Paul Sims (3-1) out of Daddis Fight Camps takes on William Green (3-1) of Quintella MMA for the inaugural 215 MMA Super Welterweight Title.

In addition to Spang vs. Dudley and Green vs. Sims, MATRIX FIGHTS 9 (@MatrixFights) from the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory in Northeast Philadelphia will be co-headlined by a pair of BELLATOR MMA veterans with Jesus “Chavo” Martinez (9-5) going head-to-head with LeVon “Da Maynman” Maynard (12-10) along with BELLATOR MMA tournament semifinalist Will Martinez (9-3-1) squaring off with STRIKEFORCE veteran Ian Rammel (7-6) in lightweight action.

MATRIX FIGHTS 9 will also feature the professional mixed martial arts debut of former WBC USNBC Light Middleweight Champion Pawel Wolak along with the much anticipated return of UFC Gym (Springfield, PA) trainer Ryan Cafaro, as he takes on Matt Kakareka of Balance Studios/Grindhouse MMA in his professional debut.
