Bobby Green and Jorge Mavidal slated for UFC 178

Bobby Green and Jorge Mavidal are both coming off victorious wins last weekend at UFC on FOX 12 and have wasted no time to agree to get back in the cage in 2 months. They have just both agreed to collide on what is already a stacked card at UFC 178. UFC 178 is set to take place on September 27th at the MGM grand arena and feature a Championship main event between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier and an exciting co-main event between the Irish man Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirer.

Bobby Green(23-5) a former Strikeforce veteran first made his debut in the UFC in Feburary 2013 since then he has gone a 4 fight win streak with wins over Pat Healy,James Krause, Jacob Volkman and he just earned his biggest win of his career beating Josh Thompson in a very close fight earning him the descion win.
Jorge Mavidal (27-8) is also coming off a decision win over Daron Cruickshank last Saturday night that marked his second straight win and earning him a 5-1 record since debuting in the UFC back April of 2013. He has notable wins over Pat Healy, Michael Chiesa, Tim Means and Justin Wilcox.
