Brave Fighter comes in support of Steelers Offensive Tackle Villanueva who Stood Alone For National Anthem

Brave CF fighter Alex Trinidad rallies support for Steelers offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva who decided to come out of the locker room to stand just outside the tunnel while the anthem played, hand over heart. Shortly before the Steelers kicked off against the Bears today in Chicago, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin announced that his entire team would not partake in the National Anthem. A Captain Army Ranger in the U.S. Army, Villanueva served three tours of duty in Afghanistan and has a Bronze Star for valor to his name.

“The National Anthem is more than just a song to some.”, quoted Alex Trinidad in support of the Steelers offensive tackle.

Alex Trinidad is a former veteran from the US Navy had been stationed with the Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. Alex will be making his debut at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions against former IMMAF medallist Hardeep Rai on 17 November at Khalifa Sports City at Isa Town during the 2017 Brave International Combat Week which also features 2017 IMMAF World Championships which will be hosted in Bahrain under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
