CES MMA is headed to New York!

CES MMA announced today that they are putting on their first show in New York on May 4 in Westbury which is 18 miles east of Manhattan.

The card is headlined by a battle between lightweights Renee Forte and Matt Secor, both UFC vets, and it will feature the return of John Gotti III, who tries to improve to 2-0 in welterweight action against Eddie Haws. Gotti is the grandson of the infamous mob boss.

The card also features a flyweight bout between Josh Ricci (4-0) and Miguel Restrepo (4-4), and a featherweight scrap between Bellator vets Jacob Bohn (5-5) and Kenny Foster (12-12).

This card won’t be on AXS TV and won’t be a numbered event (unlike next Friday’s CES 49, for example).

CES MMA CEO Jimmy Burchfield Jr., states:

“With the incredible amount of pro talent in the New York region, opening a division there is a logical step in our East Coast expansion. John Gotti III made his pro debut in Rhode Island back in October. Now it’s time for him to go to work at home.”
