Clarksville’s Edward Massey back in the cage at Valor 46
NASHVILLE (Wed, October 25, 2017)– Before Edward “The Ninja” Massey tries to rebound from his first career loss at Valor 46 on Nov. 4 in Nashville, LIVE on FloCombat, the dynamic featherweight sat down with FightBookMMA.
This fight will determine who will fight for the Valor title. How do you feel about that? Does it add any excitement or is it just business-as-usual?
It’s just going to be the usual. I’m not thinking about the tournament, I’m thinking more about the guy in front of me, right now. After that, we’ll see what’s next.
What do you know about your opponent?
He’s a game opponent. He’s one of those guys who will stay in the fight the whole way. That’s one thing I do know about him.
What is the most likely outcome?
I would like it to end in the fastest way possible, but I can see it ending quick or being a long, hard fight.
Do you have any celebrations planned for after the fight?
Celebration plans? Yeah, I’ll probably meet up with a bunch of the guys and have a little cookout or something.
Are you going to have a lot of supporters at the fight?
Yes sir, I am.
Does that add any pressure to it, or is that something you enjoy?
No, I don’t really think about stuff like that. I know it’s more of the business side and most of my friends have already seen me fight so that doesn’t really add much pressure to the situation.
