Tobias Harila welcomes William Gomis at CW 125

Tobias Harila will make his second Cage Warriors appearance at CW 125 following a breakthrough knockout over Aidan Stephen at CW 122.

The 9-1 featherweight will welcome William Gomis to the promotion at CW 125 on 26th June, the third night of Cage Warriors’ upcoming trilogy.

Talking ahead of the fight, Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan said: “Tobias Harila was the breakout star of the last trilogy.

“He’s made it pretty clear what his intentions are, he wants the featherweight title and he is going to be wanting to put the guys at the top of the division on notice with a win here.

“William Gomis could spoil the party, he’s a tough fighter with the ability to finish fights, so I’m excited to see these two men square off.”

Harila has won eight of his nine victories by way of KO/TKO, and had this to say about his upcoming fight: “I’m so excited to fight on Cage Warriors again.

“There will be a lot of people watching and I can’t wait to put on a show.

“Another knockout or fight of the night is guaranteed!”

Harila will be joined on the trilogy by fellow Scandinavian fighters, Jesse Urholin, Aleksi Mantykivi and Edward Walls.

Gomis enters Cage Warriors on a four-fight winning streak, with three wins by KO in those four victories.

Ahead of his debut, he said: “Fighting in the Cage Warriors cage is a big opportunity for me.

“I am a showman and I want to show everybody I can be the best featherweight in the division.”

Cage Warriors 125 will be shown live on Nent’s Viaplay channel, as well as on UFC Fight Pass and Cage Warriors’ global broadcasting partners.
