Former Dallas Cowboy Greg Hardy is headed to his second career in MMA
Tuesday October 11, 2016— Dallas Cowboys Greg Hardy remains a free agent and apparently has a new profession in mind: MMA.
Hardy has been training in the Dallas-area gym and promoters have already expressed interest in him according to MMAFighting.com as they reported this today.
Hardy told the website:
“I’m very focused and excited to start my MMA career,” “I’m going to do this the right way, I can assure you of that.”
Hardy like many other former NFL players who turned to MMA as a second profession, Michael Westbrook, Johnnie Morton and Marcus Jones are among the former NFL players whose MMA careers well lets just say forgettable.
Some did find success in MMA, two-time Pro Bowl running back Herschel Walker did win his only two pro MMA fights. Matt Mitrione played two NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants and fought in the UFC.
Do you think Greg Hardy will be successful in MMA or will he fall like the rest of his fellow NFL players….
