At about 4pm EST. Tuesday Cung Le, Jon Fitch and Nate Quarry were named as plaintiffs, citing among other things that the UFC has created a “monopoly” of the MMA landscape, fair pay, and compensation for personal likeness compensation. Carlos Newton was also there but will not be involved in the suit. Law Firms involved include Cohen Milstein, Joseph Saveri Law Firm, and Berger & Montague.

Zuffa was reached for comment and said, “The UFC is aware of the action filed today but has not been served, nor has it had the opportunity to review the document. The UFC will vigorously defend itself and its business practices.”
