Four Finishes and Two Title Fights Highlight ‘AXS TV FIGHTS: LION FIGHT 24’
Saturday September 26, 2015– In the two title fights on AXS TV FIGHTS: LION FIGHT 24 tonight, Super Welterweight Champion Jo Nattawut (55-5-2) defended his belt, knocking out challenger Charlie Peters (32-14) with elbows and Ognjen Topic (16-5) won a unanimous decision over Stephen Meleady (38-19) to claim the vacant lightweight title.
Other highlights include headliner Ky Hollenbeck’s (32-3-1) technical decision over Richard Abraham (7-3)—doctors stopped the fight in the fourth round due to a cut Hollenbeck sustained in a clash of heads—and spinning back elbows from Gaston Bolanos (5-0) and Chris Mauceri (8-2) to knock out their opponents.
