Geane “La Pulga” Herrera Interview before his debut at UFC Fight Night 73
Wednesday August 5, 2015– UFC Fight Night 73 will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 8. The night’s main card airs on FOX Sports 1 while the prelims will be shown on FOX Spots 2 and on UFC Fight Pass.
Our journalist and correspondent Mozz Manzoor talked to recently signed Geane “La Pulga” Herrera as he talks about his debut at UFC Fight Night 73. You can listen to the interview below including the full fight card.
At UFC Fight Night 73, 25-year-old Geane “La Pulga” Herrera (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will take on 21-year-old Ray Borg (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) as the first fight for the Main Card, airing on FOX Sports 1. Seven of Herrera’s eight professional wins were by stoppages and five of the finishes by submissions.
The 25-year old Colombian-American comes to the UFC training out of The Spartan Gym, Geane fights under MMA trainer Bill Banks. The 25-year-old Herrera made his professional debut in 2011 and has remained undefeated. “La Pulga” recently fought for RFA defeating Josh Rave with a first-round TKO win.
