Sunday May 17th, 2015– Gennady Golovkin vs.Willie Monroe was a 12‐round middle weight world championship bout that was presented by K2Promotions and GGG Promotions in association with Banner Promotions and the Forum. The fight took place Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at the Forumin Inglewood,CA.

In the past three weeks, HBO presented major boxing action with Gennady Golovkin vs. Willie Monroe, Jr. Monroe proved that he has a durable chin but in the sixth round Monroe informed the referee that he had enough. At the fight Golovkin called out Miguel Cotto for a match-up later this year.

Two weeks ago, we watched “The fight of the centurey” Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao. This fight generated millions for each fighter, but with a few highlights.

Also on the card featured Roman Gonzalez, he made his HBO debut that night. Roman is currently ranked as the #3 P4P fighter in the world behind Floyd Mayweather and Wladimir Klitschko. Gonzalez improved to 43-0 with 37 KOs after defeating Edgar Sosa in round 2.
