UFC 185: Pettis vs. dos Anjos which is set to take place in Dallas, Texas in March 14th is quickly taking shape. Along with the already mentioned UFC lightweight title fight, we now also have Alistair Overeem vs. Roy Nelson to look forward to.

Overeem who we last saw defeat Stefan Struve at UFC on Fox: dos Santos vs. Miocic via TKO. This is a rather quick turnaround for the Dutch kickboxer as he is continuing his efforts to ride his ship that started with much fanfare and hype when he moved to the UFC after the closing of Strikeforce, where he was the heavyweight champion. Overeem is the epitome of then “don’t blink” fighter, both to his positive and his detriment.

Roy Nelson’s last appearance was a losing effort to Mark Hunt at the Fight Night event the two headlined via TKO in Saitama, Japan.  Nelson has been on a bit of a slide as of late, losing 3 out of his last 4.

There will be more bouts added to this event, as always we will keep you posted.
