Invicta FC 19 Post-Fight Photographs & Wrap-Up Video

Saturday September 24, 2016On Friday, Sept. 23, Invicta Fighting Championships hosted Invicta FC 19 from historic Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City. The eight-fight card streamed live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, newly crowned titleholder Jennifer Maia (13-4-1) defeated Roxanne Modafferi (19-13) via split decision. In the co-main event, Ayaka Hamasaki’s (14-1) made her second atomweight title defense as she took on Jinh Yu Frey (5-2) winning with a TKO victory due to a doctor’s stoppage.

Also in the card we saw Kal Holliday (1-0) took on Muay Thai fighter Tiffany Van Soest’s (0-1) Invicta FC debut. Kal Holliday defeats Tiffany Van Soest via submission (rear-naked choke) in the second round.
