Jon Jones Will Be Released On Continued Bond

Tuesday April 28th, 2015– According to spokesperson Camille Cordova, Jon jones was released from custody on continued bond by a judge in San Bernalillo (N.M.) County court today Tuesday (4/28/2015). Jones is able to fight next month. The judge stated that Jones will not have any travel restrictions and that he would be able to travel to Nevada for the UFC 187 on May 23 in Las Vegas against Johnson. As of Tuesday afternoon, the UFC has not made any official decisions about the fight. The Champ on Monday did post a $2,500 bond.
In the conditions of his release below, Jones must not possess or consume alcohol or enter any liquor establishments. he can not buy, sell consume or possess any illegal drugs; not violate any law; he needs to notify the court of any change of address and maintain contact with his attorney. According to spokesperson Kayla Anderson who told MMAFighting.com, the DA has 60 days to decide whether or not to bring the charges to a grand jury.
