King of the Cage Returning to Chinook Winds Casino Resort on September 5th for “ROGUE WAVE”

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (July 22, 2015) – On Saturday, September 5, 2015, King of the Cage returns to Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon, for another action-packed evening of MMA action…”Rogue Wave.”

The Main Event will be for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship Title, when Tony “Kryptonite” Lopez (36-18), from Yucaipa, California (Team Kryptonite) battles Anthony “The Joker” McDonald with a combined pro and amateur record of 23-3, from Eugene, Oregon (Art of War). Lopez is the current KOTC Super Heavyweight Champion and one of the top ranked. McDonald was the grand prize winner of the first KOTC World Amateur Championships.

One of the co-main events will be in the Heavyweight Division and feature Chris “Hawaiian Punch” Folsom from Portland, Oregon going head to head against Matt “The Attack” Kovacs from Everett, Washington (Catalyst Fight House).

The second co-main event, in the welterweight division, will feature Marcus Gaines from Vallejo, California Team (Nobody MMA) against Tyson “The Antihero” Jeffries from Portland, Oregon (Rose City Fight Club).

Another featured bout for the Amateur 125 lb. Jr. Flyweight Division Title, will pit Kevin Gee (6-1) from Boise, Idaho against David Converse (17-3) from Lincoln City, Oregon (Team Headgear).

This event will be broadcast in over 50 million U.S households on MAVTV (DIRECTV Ch-214, Verizon FiOS Ch-810). Check your local cable provider for cable station in your area.
