Manny Bermudez will make is UFC debut at UFC on FOX 28
Orlando, Fla. (Mon, February 5, 2018)– UFC on FOX 28 takes place Feb. 24 at Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. The main card will air on FOX while the early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
UFC officials today announced today that Manny Bermudez (11-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will debut against Albert Morales (7-3-1 MMA, 1-3-1 UFC) on the nights main card of UFC Fight Pass. Bermudez is ranked 2nd of 118 active US Northeast Pro Bantamweights and ranked 1st of 42 active New England Pro Bantamweights.
Bermudez made his professional debut back in June of 2015 with a perfect record of 11-0 eight of those victories have come by submissions. Bermudez is based out of Abington, Massachusetts and his career come from him fighting under the Cage Titans FC and CES MMA banners.
Albert Morales is coming into this fight with 2 straight losses. He lost his fight against Brett Johns UFC Fight Night 113: Nelson vs. Ponzinibbio via unanimous decision. His current loss is against Benito Lopez at UFC Fight Night 123: Swanson vs. Ortega via unanimous decision. He’s looking for a win against Manny to once again climb that ladder to a possible title shot in the future.
