Nick Newell retires after a win at WSOF 24

Monday October 19, 2015– World Series Of Fighting took place at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. The main card was televised on NBCSN while the prelims on FightBookMMA.com. On that same night, Nick Newell announced his retirement after a win at WSOF 24.

Newell won by decision over Tom Marcellino, his retirement announcement wasn’t broadcasted during the event. And no mention of it was made on the telecast, either.
