PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Friday, May 8th, 2015) – Pinnacle Fighting Championships is set to make its first foray into 2015, with Pinnacle FC 10 featuring a huge main event and a deeper lineup than ever before.

The fight card is set to go down just outside of Pittsburgh at the Iceoplex in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Tickets are available at www.cagetix.com/pinnacle and range from $40-$100. The entire fight card will once again be streamed live via www.gfl.tv.

The fight card features the best that Western Pennsylvania has to offer, including multiple fighters with aspirations to be in the UFC sooner rather than later. Returning to the Pinnacle FC cage will be Mark “The Pride of Bloomfield” Cherico (7-1 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA), as he looks to rebound from the first loss of his career. Stepping into the Pinnacle cage for the first time will be fast-rising bantamweight star Dominic “The Honeybadger” Mazzotta (6-1 / fighting out of New Kensington, PA).

Khama “The Death Star” Worthy (7-3 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA) will return looking to build off of his banner 2014 year. Undefeated rising star Nick “Nyquil” Browne (3-0 / fighting out of Uniontown, PA) will also be in action, and the main card will be rounded out by the Pinnacle debut of Muay Thai star Dann Cucuta (2-1 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA).

Featured at Pinnacle FC 10:

Cherico will compete in the Pinnacle cage for the seventh time, as he faces the upset-minded and undefeated Darby “Demolition” Halferty (3-0 / fighting out of Garrett, IN) with his featherweight title on the line.

Riding a three-fight winning streak, Mazzotta parallels Cherico as perhaps the two most popular fighters in Western Pennsylvania, and he’ll step inside the Pinnacle cage for the first time when he faces Bellator veteran and New England Fights champion Tim “The Terror” Goodwin (9-4 / fighting out of Columbia, SC) in a bantamweight battle.

Worthy had his six-fight winning streak snapped at a Virginia event in February, but he looks to rebound against an opponent to be named after D’Juan Owens was forced to withdraw from their featherweight bout due to injury.

Browne has been on a tear, including stoppage wins in the Pinnacle and WSOF cages as a pro. He faces Josh Hilliard (1-1 / fighting out of Rayland, OH), who looks for his second straight win.

Striking specialist Dann Cucuta will make his Pinnacle debut as he looks for his third straight stoppage victory in a pivotal matchup against unbeaten Ohioan Jesse Murray (2-0 / fighting out of Toledo, OH).

In amateur action, Fight Club Pittsburgh product Malik Epperson (4-1 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA) will put his welterweight title on the line against submission specialist Chris Brooks (4-2 / fighting out of Youngstown, PA).

At lightweight, Fight Club Pittsburgh’s Chris Mitchell (3-2 / fighting out of Philadelphia, PA) will return for the first time since June 2013 when he faces the ultra-hot IT Fight Series champion Treg Wells (7-3 / fighting out of Findlay, OH), who comes in looking to extend his six-fight winning streak.

A pair of fighters coming off of extended layoffs will square off at welterweight, as Pittsburgh’s Dave Gabig (6-3 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA) takes on Johnny Walyklo (7-1 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA).

Welterweight veterans will also square off in another bout, as Joshua Fremd(2-1 / fighting out of Leisenring, PA) takes on former Pinnacle title challenger John Saxton (6-6 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA).

Sparks have already started to fly in a verbal battle outside of the cage between rival Pittsburgh fighters Cortland Woodard (4-5 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA) and Jon Rearick (2-5 / fighting out of Pittsburgh, PA), setting up a bantamweight battle that could be one for the ages.
