Wednesday, November 16, 2016— An exciting match-up between two of Europe’s most dangerous middleweights has just been added to EuroFC 02 at the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic on February 11th.
Maciej Rozanski (8-1), pictured, is the very first Polish fighter to be signed by EuroFC. Coming from the renowned Berserker’s Team in Szczecin, Poland, Rozanski has proven himself as a dangerous finisher securing 90% of his wins via stoppage.
This well traveled middleweight burst onto the scene in 2008 and won eight straight defeating the likes of the vastly more experienced Kristian Jexell, in just his third pro fight, and France’s Christopher Jacquelin, finishing both. In his last fight he traveled to Italy but lost a decision to recent UFC signee Jack Hermansson. With this being the first loss of his professional career Rozanski will chomping at the bit to get back in there and back in the win column.
He will now meet Steven Cnudde (7-0), who was previously announced earlier this week to finally make his EuroFC debut at the upcoming Prague card.
Arguably the top fighter in Belgium, Cnudde made his professional debut in 2011. He has since won all seven of his bouts, finishing each of his opponents. He holds notable wins over the likes of former BAMMA middleweight champ and KO artist Cheick Kone and the much bigger light heavyweight Alexander Neufang, handing him his first professional loss. Both of these wins over Kone and Neufang came on the same night in a tournament in Belgium. The 28-year-old comes from a Judo background, where he holds a black belt, and has won a number of major competitions.
Cnudde is happy to finally make his debut and to face a fighter like Maciej Rozanski.
“I am looking forward to finally making my EuroFC debut. Now is the right time for me. Good things happen for those who wait and I promise EuroFC fans it will be worth the wait. Rozanski is a tough and dangerous fighter. I signed with EuroFC to fight Europe’s best. Just like me he has a high finishing rate so I can’t see this fight going the distance. My grappling skills are as good as anyone’s and my striking is always improving. I can’t wait to get in there, win this fight and work towards a EuroFC title shot!”
