WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Professional Fighters League (PFL) finalized their final 2018 Playoff event when all 18 athletes made weight Friday for Saturday’s 12-bout slate. PFL10 features middleweight and welterweight fighters competing for a spot in the 2018 PFL Championship to be held on New Year’s Eve at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. Before they punch their ticket to the final, fighters will have to fight twice and win twice to earn their spot.

Top-seeds Abus Magomedov (middleweight) and Ray Cooper III (welterweight) both hit their marks, coming in at 185.4 and 170.4 pounds respectively. Magomedov will face off with the eight-seed Gasan Umalatov (186) who is his former training partner. Welterweight eight-seed Jake Shields (170) will rematch Cooper. The two locked horns as PFL3 in July and Cooper came out victorious with a second round TKO.
