Professional Fighters League (PFL) 4 official results
Uniondale, N.Y– The fourth event of PFL’s 2018 regular season will take place today Friday July 19, 2018 at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The main card will air on NBCSN while the prelims on Facebook beginning at 6:15 p.m. ET.
PFL4 marks the beginning of the road to the playoffs in October for the league’s featherweight and heavyweight fighters. 20 fighters will compete on the PFL4 card to remain in the running to claim their share of the $10 million prize pool and a championship title.

Lance Palmer defeated Juma Tuerxun by submission (neck crank) at 4:34 of the third round. The finish earned him four points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the featherweight division.
“I wanted to do everything I could to finish Juma (Tuerxun) because (Andre) Harrison couldn’t. Like I said before the fight, I knew he was a very tough guy but I had something to prove. Now it is on to the playoffs, time to get!”
Andre Harrison defeated Nazareno Malegarie by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27 and 30-27) after three rounds. The decision win earned Harrison three points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the featherweight division.
“I feel good coming out here and putting on a good performance. He was really tough, he took a beating. I keep saying, ‘win-and-advance’ and I mean it. I don’t do losing. The money is great and all but this is about my legacy and keeping this winning going.”
Francimar Barroso defeated Jake May by submission (arm triangle-choke) at 1:36 of the first round. With the finish Barroso earns six points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the heavyweight division.
“This was the first time I had tension with a guy before the cage door closed. I guess it motivated me even more. This is it, 12 points, now lets wait and see who’s up next. This heavyweight stuff is fun!”
Steven Siler defeated Alexandre Almeida by technical submission (guillotine choke) at 34 seconds of the first round. With the finish Siler earned six points and clinched the first seed for the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the featherweight division.
“I feel confident. I switched camps made a few changes with how I prepare, and I feel like I’m ready to win this thing.”
Philipe Lins defeated Alex Nicholson by TKO (referee stoppage – strikes) at 3:39 of the second round. The finish earned Lins five points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the heavyweight division.
“When this hand connects, its like a whip! Its hard to stay up. Happy to step in there and do what I love after such a long layoff. On to the next one! See you guys in the playoffs.”

Kelvin Tiller defeated Jared Rosholt by submission (guillotine choke) at 54 seconds of the second round. The stoppage earned Tiller five points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the heavyweight division.
“He’s the strongest person I ever fought, but I believe in myself I believe in my coaches and I find a way to win. I am good everywhere, and I’m going to go all the way.”
Timur Valiev defeated Bekbulat Magomedov by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27 and 30-27) after three rounds. The victory earned him three points towards the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the featherweight division.
“It was a great fight. A year ago I was supposed to fight him for the WSOF Bantamweight title but two weeks prior I had an injury. Now destiny faced us off as Featherweights inside PFL’s cage. Today I got back to it. I’m so happy for the win. I feel like a great champion!”
Max Coga defeated Marcos Galvao by TKO (referee stoppage – strikes) at 2:19 of the third round. The finish earned him four points towards the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the featherweight division.
“I knew that I won the first two rounds. I had agreed with my coaches on a strategy – the most important thing was to control Galvao in the first two rounds and then go for the kill in the third round. And it worked – just like I planned.”
Josh Copeland defeated Shawn Jordan by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28 and 29-28) after three rounds. The victory earns Copeland three points towards the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the heavyweight division.
“This fight was a win for both of us. Hats off to Shawn. What a great fight. Just because I beat him today, doesn’t mean I’m a better fighter. It’s just two good fighters doing our best. As for who I’ll fight next…I’ll fight my best fight against whoever Ray and Carlos tell me to fight. I just want to keep advancing.”
Valdrin Istrefi defeated Daniel Gallemore by TKO (referee stoppage – strikes) at 1:42 of the second round. The finish earned Istrefi five points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the heavyweight division.
