Los Angeles – Nov. 12, 2016 In a back-and-forth battle for the Legacy Fighting Championship middleweight title, Brazlian Jiu-Jitsu legend Rafael Lovato Jr. (4-0) caught Cortez Coleman (13-7) in an armbar after several minutes on the ground to force the submission and retain his championship on AXS TV FIGHTS: LEGACY FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP 62.

Other highlights from Legacy 62 include:

Justin Rader’s (5-2) ground and pound lead to a TKO of Mike Maldonado (5-1) in the first round.


Aaron Mckenzie (3-0) landed a series of knees in the first round before defeating Brandon Wright (0-1) by TKO in the second.

Welterweight Fight – Braden Smith (6-1) defeated Teagan Franco (4-1) via submission (toe hold) at 2:53 in round one.

Featherweight Fight – Emmanuel Rivera (5-0) defeated Chris Mullins (3-1) by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Lightweight Fight – Aaron Mckenzie (3-0) defeated Brandon Wright (0-1) by TKO (punches) at 3:03 in round two.
