Tuesday July 28, 2015– Golden Boy Promotions next edition of LA FIGHT CLUB will be on Thursday, August 6 at The Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Undefeated featherweight standout Abraham “Chamaco” Lopez (18-0-1, 13 KOs) of La Puente, Calif. will be featured in a 10-round main event against Jorge “King” Diaz, marking Lopez¹ first headlining event as well as his appearance of the fan-favorite series. In the co-main event, East Los Angeles native Roy “Pitbull” Tapia (10-0-2, 5 KOs) will return to the popular series in a televised eight-round super bantamweight fight.
Popular East LA prospect Roy “Pitbull” Tapia (10-0-2, 5 KOs) made his first LA FIGHT CLUB appearance in March, winning a hard-fought decision over Ali Gonzalez that kept his unbeaten record intact.
