Tuesday April 28th, 2015– The Hard Knocks Fighting Championship (HKFC) organization announces a fight card update for Hard Knocks 43 in Calgary Alberta and releases ticket prices for the event at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport on May 22. HK43 features a three-round main event that pits UFC veteran Nick “The Promise” Ring (13-3, fighting out of Calgary)against Jason “The Savage” Zentgraf (8-2, fighting out of Missoula, MT) in a bout that will see one of these fighters add an L to their record.

The Line up for HK43 includes:

  • Current Hard Knocks Light Heavyweight Champion and UFC hopeful Misha Cirkunov (8-2 fighting out of Toronto, Ontario) meets Shaun “The Bully” Asher (9-1, fighting out of Cincinnati, Ohio) in a Light Heavyweight title bout.
  • Current Hard Knocks Welterweight Champion and UFC hopeful Sergej “El Dorado” Juskevic (14-7-2, fighting out of Toronto, Ontario) meets Lorawnt-T “Smash” Nelson (6-2, fighting out of Arvada, Colorado) in a Welterweight title bout.
  • Jordan “HELLBOY” McKay (7-2, fighting out of Calgary, Alberta) meets Joel Powell (7-4, fighting out of Hamilton, Ontario) in this Welterweight bout.
  • Lightweight Aaron “Gorilla”Gallant (6-6, fighting out of Calgary, Alberta) meets Mike “The Caveman Bully” (4-3, fighting out of Thunder Bay, Ontario).
  • Bantamweight Owen “The Body” Carr (5-3-1, fighting out of Calgary, Alberta) meets Ryan Connor (5-2m fighting out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia).
  • Trenton Rowell (2-3, fighting out of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta) will meet Devon “Mr. Boomtruck” Smith (1-1, fighting out of La Ronge, Saskatchewan) in this Light Heavyweight bout.
  • Flyweight Keegan “The Condition” Oliver (2-3, fighting out of Calgary, Alberta) will meet in his pro MMA debut Derek “Man-Child” Falk  (0-0, fighting out of Oshawa, Ontario).
  • and currently includes 5 amateur bouts.

Tickets for HK43 are now on sale and may be purchased online HERE. Tickets are priced at $170 and $130 for VIP seats (prices include dinner and taxes and service charges may apply).  Other ticket prices include $60 for reserved, $50 for general admission, $20 for students (tickets available at the will call at the U of C ) and $10 for youth (prices include tax and service charges may apply).
