Jordan v Cannonier and Horiguchi v Gaudinot
The UFC have recently announced two new match up’s that will take place at the UFC 182 pay-per-view event, to be held in the MGM grand garden arena on January 3rd 2015, an event that is headlined by the current UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and former Olympian Daniel Cormier.
Jordan Vs Cannonier
Shawn Jordan is coming into this fight off the back of a hard fought victory last time out in the Octagon, securing a 3rd round TKO stoppage over former nightclub bouncer Jack May, Jordan, was able to mix up his wrestling with his clinch game effectively to tire out an ultimately finish May who is now 0-2 in the UFC.Overall Jordan is 16-6 in his overall MMA career and he welcomes UFC newcomer Jared Cannonier,
Horiguchi Vs Gaudinot
Top fly weight prospect Kyoji Horoguchi returns to the octagon once more as he faces team tiger karate black belt Louis Gaudinot in what promises to be an entertaining match up for the fans.
Horiguchi who is currently 3-0 in his UFC career and is also riding an 8-fight win streak will be looking to move up the ranks further with a victory over a solid opponent in Gaudinot, who himself has only won 1 of his last 4 fights inside of the Octagon, with his last encounter being overturned as a result of a positive drugs test.
