UFC 190: Rousey vs. Correia Results, Bonuses, Post Fight Press Conference And Video Highlights Of The Main And Co-Main Event

Sunday August 2, 2015– UFC 190 took place on Saturday (8/01/2015) at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena. The main event was aired on pay-per-view while the prelims aired on FOX Sports 1 and on UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, Ronda Rousey defeated Correia by knockout in just 34 seconds to retain her bantamweight title. This will be her third straight win in less than a minute.

Ronda came after Correia and started trading blows, they get in the clinch and Ronda trips her and Correia rolls through. After Correia gets up, Rousey starts throwing bombs that hurt her, then lands a beautiful right hand that lands on the temple and makes Correia land face first. Rousey wins by knockout in the first 0:34 of Round 1.

In the co-main event, its been ten years in the making for UFC light heavyweights Mauricio Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira since their rematch from PRIDE in their classic war in 2005.

After three rounds of non stop action, Rua was nearly knocked out by Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the first round, and then nearly choked out in the third. The judges gave the win to Shogun just like the first time winning by unanimous decision.
