UFC 205 Embedded: Vlog Series – Episode 1

Tuesday, November 8, 2016UFC® will make its highly anticipated debut and make history at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016. The main card will air on pay-per-view while the prelims will air on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Its fight week and you know what that means, its time for the UFC to bring the Embedded series as they go behind the scenes leading up to the historic three-title fight event. This week the UFC heads to New York City for the first time for UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden. Check out our preview for UFC 205 by clicking here.

In the main event, Lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez (28-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) puts his belt on the line as he will be facing featherweight champ Conor McGregor (20-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC). Conor is looking to attempt to become the first concurrent two-division champion in UFC history.

In the co-main event, welterweight champ Tyron Woodley (16-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) will defend his belt for the first time against Stephen Thompson (13-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC). And women’s strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) defends her title against Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC).


On Episode 1 of UFC 205 Embedded, it’s all business for the stars of New York City’s first-ever UFC event. Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez chalks up a win after his media call with opponent and featherweight champion Conor McGregor. McGregor pushes himself in training, while strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk combines hydration with motivation. Strawweight challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz follows a mitt session with a big-city shopping trip. Welterweight title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson continues his normal duties as a karate teacher and a mixed martial arts student, while champion Tyron Woodley also keeps his family close even in the gym.
