UFC champ Ronda Rousey wins ESPY for ‘Best Fighter’
Wednesday July 25, 2015– UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is the ESPY winner for “Best Fighter”.
Rousey won against UFC fighter Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, and boxers Gennady Golovkin, Terrance Crawford and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Also on that night, Rousey was awarded for “Best Female Athlete” which she topped Serena Williams, Lindsey Vonn and Breanna Stewart.
Rousey (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) will headline UFC 190 a pay-per-view event and she will be defending her title against Bethe Correia (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC). The event takes place Aug. 1 at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro.
