Sunday June 7, 2015– UFC Fight Night 68 took place at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The main card and prelims aired on FOX Sports 1 while the early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, Dan Henderson (31-13) who is 44 years old, dropped the “H-Bomb” against Tim Boetsch (18-9). Henderson won the main event by an impressive TKO in just 28 seconds in the first round.
In the co-main event, was a heavyweight bout between Ben Rothwell (35-9) and Matt Mitrione (9-4). Rothwell earned the submission win at 1:54 in the first round. This will be Rothwell’s third consecutive victory, all of which have come by finishes.
UFC PR representative David Lockett announced the winners at the post-event news conference. Each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 68 event.
