UFC Fight Night Denver Valentina Shevchenko vs. Julianna Pena Bonuses, Reebok Sponsorship Payout & Video Highlights
DENVER, Colorado (Sun, January 29, 2017)– UFC on FOX 23 took place at Denver’s Pepsi Center. The event aired on FS1 while the early prelims were aired on UFC Fight Pass. The event drew an announced attendance of 13,233 for a live gate of $1,020,434.

UFC officials announced the bonuses after the event. Valentina Shevchenko, Jorge Masvidal, Francis Ngannou and Jason Knight all got “Performance of the Night” bonuses. There was no “Fight of the Night” awarded. All fighters received an extra $50k for their performances.
Fighters from the event took home their UFC Athlete Outfitting pay totaling $155,000.
Under the sponsorship deal with Reebok, here are the program’s payout tiers: 1-5 bouts receive $2,500, 6-10 bouts get $5,000, 11-15 bouts earn $10,000, 16-20 bouts pocket $15,000, 21 bouts and more get $20,000. Champions earn $40,000 while title challengers get $30,000. UFC fighters will also receive payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.
