V3 FIGHTS: PITSS VS SPRAGUE SET FOR NOVEMBER 15
V3FIGHTS: PITSS VS SPRAGUE SET FOR NOVEMBER 15
After a very busy summer, V3Fights will be back in action on November 15 at Minglewood Hall for another great night of non-stop, amateur MMA action. The main event will feature hometown fighter, Corey Sprague, going up against undefeated, Courtnee Pitts, from Texarkana, AR for the vacant middleweight title. Both fighters are very dangerous and like to finish fights and can end one at any moment.
The co-main event will pit two pioneers from the heavyweight division going against one another when newly crowned champion, Houston Lantrip, puts his title on the line against Del Merritt. Both fighters come into this fight with a great deal of momentum. Lantrip won the title back in August in hard fought unanimous decision victory over Cody Huckabe. A few weeks prior to that, Merritt won in a come from behind victory over Ced Hampton via second round submission.
The vacant flyweight title will also be on the line when Jesse Parker goes up against Kyle Rogers. Rogers has been on a tear as of late fighting just about every weekend in August, and this will be the fifth time that Parker finds himself in a title fight with the promotion. Expect nothing but fireworks from these two fighters.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 26, 2014
This event will be available on internet pay per view at www.ustream.tv/channel/v3fights.
