Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 opens full Main Card with 2 welterweight matches

16 October, 2016 – ROAD Fighting Championship is excited to announce the full Main Card for Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 on 19 November at the 9,400-seat Hebei Gymnasium in Shijiazhuang (石家庄), the capital and largest city of Hebei, China.

The Main Card is now complete with two added welterweight matches: China’s Song Kenan versus Russia’s Elnur Agaev, and China’s Dong Xin versus Korea’s La In-Jae.

Song Kenan (12-2, China Top Team) is one of the bright rising stars of Chinese MMA. He is on a six-fight win streak, five in a row by KO and a recent submission victory to mix things up. Heavy hands, great takedown defense, and grappling skills make Song a force in the welterweight division. Song’s most impressive victories are over Sanae Kikuta and Kenta Takagi.

Elnur Agaev (10-6, MFP) is a powerful and creative kicker with a deadly high kick. He uses these to set up his equally powerful takedowns, whether by double leg or hip throw. Agaev then likes to use his incredible top pressure to maul his opponents on the ground or pound them out. Agaev’s most important victory was a head kick that led to a referee stoppage to strikes over Vuyisile Colossa.

With two finishers who have contrasting styles, Song versus Agaev is sure to be a barn-burner match!

Also in the welterweight division, China’s Dong Xin and Korea’s La In-Jae return to ROAD FC to face each other.

Dong Xin (3-3, Xin Du MMA) is a tough product from the Xi’an Sports University who is showing impressive development in his recent outings. He is well-rounded and technical, with an arsenal of sanda kicks at his disposal.

La In-Jae (5-0, Apgujeong Gym) is a rising middleweight fighter from Korea who is making the more suitable drop to the welterweight division. His Muay Thai and grappling are both strong suits, as he’s proves with an undefeated record that continued after a long layoff.

Dong versus La will be a clash of striking styles between two MMA fighters and the audience might get to see some exciting ground work – but by whom?
