2017 Knockout of the Year winner vows a finish at Brave 18


Felipe Efrain, 2017 Knockout of the Year winner will be competing for the bantamweight championship title at Brave 18. The winner of three performance awards at Brave Combat Federation will take on Stephen Loman from Team Lakay, Philippines. Felipe has three wins in his four appearances at Brave Combat Federation. He is currently undergoing training at the Chute Boxe Diego Lima in Brazil preparing for the title fight.

Efrain has all his three wins at Brave Combat Federation coming by way of knockouts, all of them which won him performance bonus for the fight of the night. Efrain had stated that he will be looking forward for a finish to win the championship from Stephen Loman. Efrain has 8 of his 13 wins coming by way of knockouts. The bantamweight has stated that he aims to make his ninth knockout win at Brave Combat Federation.

“I am overwhelmed to be a part of the largest mixed martial arts festival in Asia. It was in Bahrain that I had won the 2017 Knockout of the Year. I would love to gift Bahrain yet another knockout performance to remember. I will be fighting to bring the much awaited bantamweight title to Brazil”, said Felipe Efrain.

The fight will take place on 16th November at the Khalifa Sports City in Bahrain during Brave 18. Brave 18 will feature three championship titles contested in the largest fight night ever hosted in Bahrain.
