Mohammad Fakhreddine is set to take on arch-rival Tahar Hadbi in a rematch at Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises, on March 2nd, in Amman, Jordan. After their controversial No Contest, the Welterweight phenom has been taunting his former and future foe through social media and took things to the next level with an Instagram video posted on his official account.
During the clip, the Lebanese striker is seen taking repeated shots to the groin, in “preparation” for his rematch with “Fast Hands”. It was illegal, but an unintentional kick to that area that caused their first fight, back in November of 2017 to become a No Contest, as Fakhreddine was unable to continue after the shot landed.
Their first bout was preceded by trash talk between the two fighters and Brave president Mohammed Shahid described their rivalry as “the greatest in promotional history”. After a back and forth first round, the fight-ending kick landed in the second frame leaving Brave fans wanting a straight rematch, delivered by promotional officials for Brave 10.
And the duo turned up the tune on the trash talk with the French-Algerian contender claiming he was ready to make Lebanon “weep” after he was “done with Fakhreddine”, which prompted “The Latest” to respond in the viral video, that has gathered over 1,000 views in the couple hours it has been online.
Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises marks the promotion’s first show in Jordan, home to some of Brave’s most decorated fighters, and the seventh country to host a Brave Combat Federation event, after Bahrain, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, India, Kazakhstan, and Mexico.
