Augusto Montano (13-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Chris Heatherly (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) have been added to next month’s UFC 180 event. This was recently announced by the UFC officials. The bout between Montano vs. Heatherly will be part of the prelims.
Montano who trains at Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA in Albuquerque, N.M., will make his UFC debut in his home country. Montano is a six-year pro with eight knockouts and five submissions in his 13 career wins.
Heatherly has a three-fight winning streak in the RFA and started fighting in the UFC in August. Heatherly lost his fight at UFC Fight Night 49 against Ben Saunders via submission (omoplata).
UFC 180 is scheduled to take place Nov. 15 at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. The main card airs on PPV and the Prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
