Kazakhstan’s own Azat Maksum has fired up crowds since he made his professional debut, four years ago. And no wonder, because “Kazakh”, as he’s also known as, is undefeated in his career, with 12 wins in 12 fights, 9 of those coming by way of knockout or submission.
Back in March, Maksum made his promotion debut at BRAVE Combat Federation with a third-round knockout over Michael Aljarouj in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He’s now looking to keep the finish streak going against Brazil’s Flávio de Queiroz, which Kazakh himself acknowledges won’t be an easy task.
“Flávio is an extremely skilled fighter and shouldn’t be underestimated”, he said. “He has knockout power, but I also know how to hit hard, and in the event, I’ll get another finish in my career. Flavio is the most experienced and dangerous opponent I’ve fought so far”.
Azat Maksum vs Flávio Queiroz will take place on August 21st, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at BRAVE CF 53. The event, co-hosted with local promoters of Octagon Fight, will be headlined by the Featherweight bout between Tae Kyun Kim and Nurzhan Akishev.
