Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen On Mentoring Other Athletes

Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen (5-4-0), based in Oakland, California, is a Vietnamese-American atomweight fighter who immigrated to the United States from Vietnam with her parents when she was a child. Training out of the world-renowned Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nguyen made her first foray into mixed martial arts in 2014, winning four of her five matches in the amateur ranks in impressive fashion. She turned professional in 2016, racking up three-straight victories to kick things off. Now, “Killer Bee” directs her career path to ONE Championship, where she made her promotional debut in 2019.

ONE Championship held its inaugural Vietnam event ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on September 6. American based fighter Bi Nyugen, made her return to competition in her birthplace, a moment she wished to share with her late father. She fought in an Atomweight Muay Thai bout, “Killer Bee” was able to defeat Puja “The Cyclone” Tomar via split decision.
