“Our tremendous, sold-out event in Myrtle Beach two months ago was an outstanding way to kick off 2023, our biggest and best year,” said David Feldman, President and Founder of BKFC. “We can’t wait to return to South Carolina and this lightweight clash between fierce rivals Tony Soto and Tyler Goodjohn is just the beginning of outstanding fight announcements for this event. Both fighters are two of the most polarizing and talented in BKFC.”

Quickly rising through the rankings over the last eighteen months, the fan-favorite and all-action Soto has been victorious in four memorable clashes. Most recently he stopped Wayna Reid in the fourth round on January 27, 2023 at BKFC. He also holds dominant wins over Joshua Morales (BKFC-28), Shawn Moffet (BKFC-23) and Joshua Sikes (BKFC-19).

Following three sensational victories in regional bare-knuckle events and a successful run in professional boxing in the United Kingdom, Goodjohn made his heavily hyped BKFC debut on December 11, 2020 at BKFC-15 with a victory over veteran Charles Bennett. Following two heated public confrontations that went viral with Luis Palomino, Goodjohn clashed with the current #1 Pound-for-Pound and Two-Weight BKFC World Champion, losing a hotly contested decision at BKFC-18 on June 26, 2021. Goodjohn returned home for battle at BKFC’s triumphant United Kingdom debut on August 20, 2022 losing in a valiant effort against rival countryman James Lilly.

Additional fights to this action-packed evening will be announced shortly.
