Boxing Odds Fury Favourite to Retain WBC Champion Belt

A huge spectacle for boxing fans around the globe takes place this weekend, as undefeated heavyweight champion Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury (31-0-1, 22KOs), returns to the UK to defend his WBC belt against former sparring partner Dillian ‘The Body Snatcher’ Whyte (28-2, 19KOs).
The bout is expected to take place in a sold-out Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday April 23rd. The bout has broken the record for the largest boxing event in Britain, with a ticket capacity of 94,000, overtaking Joshua vs Klitschko’s bout of 90,000 in 2017.
Whyte has long-awaited a title shot after defeating Povetkin, last march, however, has maintained media silence leading up to the bout. Fury returns after his heroics in the trilogy against Wilder, although recent discussions suggest retirement could looming for Fury.
Could this be the last time we see one of the UK’s greatest heavyweights in the ring or will Whyte be victorious in his title shot?
The Undercard starts at 7 pm with Tommy Fury also making a return to the ring with the main fight commencing at 10 pm (BST).
