Boxing Odds: Golovkin Predicted have an easy win against Murata

Gennady Golovkin will be fighting against Ryōta Murata in a 12 round bout on Saturday at Saitama Super Arena, in Japan. The winner of the bout will leave as the undisputed middleweight champion, with both fighters holding titles from different boxing organisations.

Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1 36 KOs) has held the IBF and IBO world middleweight titles since 2019 after defeating Sergiy Derevyanchenko in a 12-round bout. While Ryōta Murata (18-2-0 13 KOs) has been the WBA middleweight Champion since January 2021.

Both Boxers have represented their countries at the Olympics before turning pro, with Golovkin winning silver in 2004 and Murata winning gold in 2012. Golovkin holds the highest knockout-to-win ratio (89.7%) in middleweight history and only has one defeat on his record.
