Brad Katona Prepared To Face Anyone For Vacant BRAVE CF World Title

As Brad “Superman” Katona crosses paths with a high-caliber opponent like Bair Shtepin, the Canadian up-and-coming star sees a big reward if he plays his cards right.

Both men are slated to square off against each other in a three-round bantamweight clash on the supporting card of the much-awaited BRAVE CF 53, which emanates from the beautiful city of Almaty in Kazakhstan this Saturday, August 21st.

Katona, who first emerged in the mainstream consciousness of the North American audience through a renowned reality television program focusing on budding talents of the sport, is one of the most regarded blue-chip recruits signed the Bahrain-based outfit earlier this year as he holds an impressive 9-2 professional record with four victories coming by way of finish.

“Superman” left a lasting impression in his promotional debut at BRAVE CF 50 this past April, submitting Borislav Nikolic in the third round with a guillotine choke.

A decisive victory this weekend could put him in a position to vie for the vacant BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Championship perhaps against Gamzat Magomedov.

Magomedov is coming off a 54-second knockout win over Mochamed “The Beast”  Machaev in a pivotal bantamweight encounter at BRAVE CF 52: Bad Blood last August 1.

Whether he faces Magomedov next for the belt, Katona made it clear that he is out to take on anyone the organization puts in front of him.

“I won’t be surprised if he (Magomedov) fights for the title. There are many great bantamweights [in  BRAVE CF] right now. We’ll see whatever the fans decide on. We’ll see whatever BRAVE CF decides on, ” he said.

“One thing I have control over is making sure that I am undeniable and I am fighting for the title against anyone. That’s in my control and that’s what I am focusing on.”
