BRAVE CF 57: Husein Kadimagomaev Warns Babaev, “I Didn’t Come to Play”

BRAVE Combat Federation is hosting one of the most thrilling fight cards this March 11th in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of BRAVE International Combat Week. Besides having three World Championship Titles on the line, the night will also witness the resolution of a debate which has taken social media by storm.

Last summer, Chechnya-born Swiss standout Husein Kadimagomaev and Agshin “Warrior” Babaev of Azerbaijan rallied their troops and took social media by storm to get a fight penciled for the promotion’s upcoming event after suffering disappointing setbacks at BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination.

The two featherweights managed to get the attention of BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid who granted their wish and set a match-up for BRAVE CF 52 in Milan, Italy. However, Babaev was not able to make it to the fight which left a lot unresolved and unsettled amongst the two fighters.

The chechen-born superstar stands at a stellar record of 8 wins and 1 loss at 22 years old and is adamant on taking on Babaev, an experienced 35 year old who has three times the number of fights and a record of 22 wins and 7 losses.

Kadimagomaev’s only loss was to BRAVE CF’s Korean standout Tae Kyun Kim in a war which took the arena by storm. Prior to that loss, Kadimagomaev was undefeated as an amateur and professional with a 20-fight win streak.

Determined to redeem himself inside the BRAVE CF arena, Kadimagomaev took it upon himself to continue advocating for the fight and tension started rising between the two.

The fight was announced last month for BRAVE CF 57, and as soon as it was confirmed, Kadimagomaev took to his Instagram account to send a message to Babaev.

“Agshin,” said Kadimagomaev. “Get your whole team to Bahrain. I didn’t come to play. But only you will stand by your words before and during the fight.”

Kadimagomaev will face Agshin Babaev a year to the day since his last fight for BRAVE Combat Federation. The two will square off at Khalifa Sports City in the Kingdom of Bahrain on March 11th as part of the week-long combat festivities held in the Kingdom.
