Seef District, Bahrain – Ireland’s Glenn McVeigh jumped into one of the scariest fights out there with only two-days notice, after more than 7 athletes refused to face two-time IMMAF World Champion Muhammad Mokaev on his professional debut, last Saturday, at BRAVE CF 37 in Sweden.
McVeigh’s prompt response and willingness to be part of BRAVE Combat Federation, as well as his heart display inside the cage, where he survived several submission attempts from the number one pound-for-pound amateur in the world to go the distance, ensured he impressed the MMA world and earned him a long-term contract with the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world.
The announcement was made by BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid, who publicly thanked and praised McVeigh for his braveness and said that the Irish prospect will have more chances, with a proper training camp and preparation, to show his full potential inside the BRAVE CF Arena.
With an amateur record of 11 wins and only five losses, Glenn McVeigh held multiple amateur championships in his home country before having his professional debut on a super short-notice, against Muhammad Mokaev last Saturday.

BRAVE CF continues in Sweden for two more weekends. After BRAVE CF 37 last weekend, the promotion will host both BRAVE CF 38 and BRAVE CF 39 in the Scandinavian country.
Both events, as the previous one, will be co-promoter with local organizers Bulldog Fight Night (BFN) and take place, respectively, on August 8 and 15, in Stockholm.
