The 29-year-old knockout artist from Makhachkala, Russia is set to lock horns with Belgian standout Issa Isakov on the supporting card of BRAVE CF 55.

Gaziev has been part of the organization’s roster since its inaugural event in 2016, winning four of his last eight outings—with all victories coming by way of stoppage.

Noticing similarities between his career and the journey of the new Lightweight Champion of the World Ahmed Amir, Gaziev is motivated and is looking forward to turning his BRAVE CF legacy around by using his 5 year experience at the promotion as a drive to restart his title run by securing his second victory in 2021.

Fresh from a third-round knockout triumph against Geraldo Neto at BRAVE CF 49: Super Fights, another victory could put him in line for a shot at Eldar Eldarov’s BRAVE CF Super Lightweight World Championship.

However, it will not be a walk in the park as Isakov presents a stern test for the Russian hard-hitter. The Belgian—who holds a professional record 8-3, possesses an 88-percent finishing rate.

In his most recent assignment, Isakov went the distance with Marcel Grabinski. Although he lost the match by way of unanimous decision, the 5-foot-9 stalwart gave the German powerhouse problems all throughout the contest.

It is expected that Gaziev will have his hands full against Isakov on fight night.

BRAVE CF 55 takes place November 6th in Rostov-on-Don, Russia in association with Pro FC and is headlined by the BRAVE Flyweight World Title Tournament semifinal bout between Ali “The King Puncher” Bagautinov and Jose “Shorty” Torres.
