Brawl and shooting at RIZE Fighting Championship
RIZE Fighting Championship took place on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Bamboo Room in Lake Worth Beach. The main event was headlined by Alexis Fernandez and Filipe Valentim.
The brawl started with punches and chairs thrown everywhere until someone fired a GUN twice. TMZ Sports has the video and you can watch it here. It is yet unclear how the brawl started but one man opened up a bag, pulled out a handgun and fired it into the air. The Ducross Brothers were first to break the news on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Former Bellator middleweight champ Hector Lombard was in the crowd and posted the shooting on his IG.
Paramedics treated multiple individuals who were injured in the brawl portion of the incident. John Rivera was judging the event and in the video below you can see a woman wearing black throwing a chair hitting Rivera in the face which caused some serious damage and sending him to the hospital. You can see Rivera wearing the green button down shirt.
No arrests have been made but officials have launched an investigation to identify the shooter. Law enforcement is asking the public for help and to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
