Burt Watson starts own MMA Promotion called “We Rollnnn MMA”
Burt Watson who was the former UFC backstage called “The Babysitter for the Stars” is starting his own MMA promotion which the news broke on Tuesday per MMAFighting.com.
Burt Watson Promotions will be called “We Rollnnn MMA” and will begin holding events this spring in South Florida. The promotion will run its first event on June 15 at Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
“I want to give fans a world-class product, and preparing each fighter for the bright lights of the next level is what I do,” Watson said in a press release. “The combination of competitive fights and great fan support is the only way to get that done, and I’m excited to start this new chapter.”
Watson previously worked in a similar site in a coordinator role with now-defunct Alliance MMA. Now he has his hands in as a promoter and emphasizes on building the future stars of the sport.
