Cage Warriors return to Wales this Saturday for CW91

It’s Wales vs Belgium in Cage Warriors’ CW91 main event, which will see bantamweight prospects Josh Reed and Brian Bouland clash in front of a Welsh crowd. Both men are known for their fast, dynamic striking arsenal and their non-stop pace, making for a headline fight that looks to take the roof off Wales’ Newport Centre this Saturday. With Reed coming off the performance that had the MMA world talking last September, when his fight of the year with Nathaniel Wood at CW86 went viral and reached over 20 million fans worldwide, and Bouland looking to replicate his stunning knockout finish at the same event, this is one that could end any minute.

Ross Houston and Aaron Khalid will meet for the second time in CW91’s co-main event, and look to stage an all-out war for the fans to top their last fight at CW87. Another Wales v Belgium clash will take place further down the card, when Richard Williams takes on Donovan Desmae. With both men coming off impressive wins in late 2017, this fight will give one man the chance to knock the other off the ladder to the top of the lightweight division. Elsewhere on the main card, Gavin Kelly meets one of Wales’ top rising submission specialists in Kris Edwards, and Cory Mckenna, a promising and undefeated prospect in the strawweight division, faces Italy’s Maria Vittoria Colonna in her first professional outing.

“Every time we’ve been to Wales, the fans make it a night to remember,” says Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan. “There’s some bouts on this card that could turn out to be fight of the year contenders, so the atmosphere this Saturday is going to be electric. It’s going to get loud in there.”

Very few tickets remain for CW91. To avoid disappointment, fans are advised to secure their tickets early this week from the Cage Warriors website here.
