CES MMA 73 card set to feature UFC veteran William Knight against Domingos Barros for the vacant CES Heavyweight Championship
BEVERLY, MA – CES MMA, the leading mixed martial arts promoter in the Northeast, is proud to announce its highly anticipated CES MMA 73 card, featuring an explosive main event between UFC veteran William “The Knightmare” Knight and rising star Domingos Barros for the vacant CES World Heavyweight Championship.
The bout serves as the main event of a stacked card set to take place on Friday, May 12 at the iconic North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, MA. CES MMA 73 will also be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass, giving fans around the world the opportunity to witness the action as it unfolds.
Headlining the event is a heavyweight title fight between two of the most exciting fighters in the division.
Hartford, Connecticut’s Knight (11-5) is a highly decorated mixed martial artist who gained notoriety as part of Dana White’s Contender Series before earning a contract with the UFC. Knight is known for his powerful striking and is looking to make a statement in his return to the CES cage.
Domingos Barros (7-1) is a rising star in the sport of mixed martial arts. The Portuguese native, now residing in Fall River, MA, made a name for himself on Bellator cards for his aggressive fighting style and impressive grappling skills. Barros is looking to prove to the world that he is one of the top heavyweights in MMA by taking on a UFC veteran in Knight and is confident in his ability to win the CES MMA Heavyweight title.
Both fighters are known for their explosive striking and knockout power, and fans can expect an electrifying battle for the belt.

The event is expected to draw fight fans from across the region, as it also features some of New England’s top amateur and professional fighters, including West Haven’s Eddy George (6-0) facing Yemi Oduwale (9-4) in a lightweight contest, a featherweight matchup between New Hampshire’s Brandon Marotte (7-1) and Danbury CT’s Regivaldo Carvalho (7-4) and local amateur sensation Lucas Rosa (6-1) in a featherweight contest.
